If 2025 Recap appears, tap Get your Recap to launch a slideshow highlighting your most-played songs, artists, playlists, albums, podcasts, genres, and more.<\/p>\nEach slide includes shareable visuals you can download or post directly to social platforms. You\u2019ll also find a curated playlist featuring your top tracks of the year, which you can save to your library with one tap.<\/p>\n
This year introduces a couple of new elements. Musical Passport reveals the countries your most-streamed artists are from, while Calendar View maps out your listening habits across the year.<\/p>\n
Some users have also noticed preset Gemini AI prompt suggestions related to their activity - questions like \u201cHow did my listening evolve this year?\u201d or \u201cExplain my music taste like a weather forecast,\u201d according to reports from 9to5Google.<\/p>\n
To receive a Recap, Google notes that listeners must stream at least four hours of music each season and a total of ten hours between Jan. 1 and Nov. 10, 2025. (Quarterly and seasonal recaps use the four-hour threshold.)
\nPodcast stats require at least two hours of listening time, but are only unlocked if the music requirements are met.<\/p>\n
Spotify may have made year-end recaps mainstream, though last year\u2019s AI-focused Wrapped wasn\u2019t universally well-received. It\u2019s expected to return next week - so listeners will soon find out if Spotify delivers a stronger experience this time around.<\/p>\n
